Include someone in several cycles

An employee can have work in more than one active cycle. Each cycle keeps its own participants, stages, assignments, questions, and shared manager reviews. Completing a review in one cycle does not complete or change work in another.

Keep review data separate

Each cycle uses its own review period and context. Drafts, submitted answers, packets, Insights, and calibrations belong to the cycle and stage that created them. Each cycle also saves its own participants and managers. The same person can have different assignments in different cycles.

Manage tasks and reminders

A person’s task list can include complete and incomplete work from all active cycles. Each cycle uses its own review chats and eligible work for reminders, nudges, and deadline digests. People can receive separate tasks and messages when schedules overlap.

Resolve conflicting dates or assignments

Windmill does not combine assignments across cycles. A cycle admin must change dates, participants, and supported manager or upward assignments in each cycle separately. Check the cycle name, stage, reviewee, and due date before changing or nudging overlapping work.
