Supported platforms
Windmill supports recordings from Zoom, Zoom: My Notes, Google Meet, Gong, Granola, and Roam.- Windmill schedules most sources for an hourly sync. Zoom: My Notes sends new notes to Windmill after Zoom creates them. The source must finish processing the transcript first, and queue work can add more time.
- Windmill stores meeting text, including transcripts, available notes or summaries, and generated summaries and action items. Audio and video stay on the original platform.
- When you connect most supported sources, Windmill starts a date-range sync for the previous six months. Zoom: My Notes does not support a historical backfill. It only syncs new notes after you connect it.
- When a recording’s calendar event matches a 1:1 in Windmill, it appears on that 1:1 page automatically.
Per-platform details
Zoom: Meeting transcripts and cloud-recording transcripts from your company-wide integration, with available summaries. See Zoom transcripts, recordings, and My Notes. Zoom: My Notes: New notes, summaries, and available transcripts from your personal Zoom account. Only the member who connects the integration can see the synced notes. Google Meet: Transcripts from native recordings or Gemini Notes. “Also start a transcript” must be turned on in the meeting for Windmill to receive the transcript. Gong: Transcripts and AI summaries from public Gong calls. Summaries include a short summary, key points, and action items when AI is enabled in Gong. Private calls are never imported. Granola: Notes and transcripts from recordings you can access in Granola. Granola appears as a linked recording on the 1:1 page and does not populate the shared agenda. Visibility depends on the source. Recording access is based on matched participants and integration-specific rules. Zoom: My Notes content is only visible to the member who connected it. - Within 1:1s — attached recordings show up on the 1:1 page once available.
- Through Windy — ask Windy in Slack about a recorded meeting that is available to you (e.g. “Show me my last meeting with Jordan”).
