Facilitator

Facilitators lead the calibration. They can:
  • Open all views, the pre-read report, Discussion, and History.
  • Add comments and change supported manager-review ratings.
  • Manage the name, description, participants, roles, reviewees, and visible questions.
  • Generate and send the pre-read, send manager nudges, submit, and archive.
These management actions are available while the calibration is active. A completed calibration is read-only, but an eligible facilitator can duplicate it.

Committee member

Committee members can read every reviewee’s data in People, Grid, Table, Insights, the pre-read, Discussion, and History. They can add comments and replies and remove their own comments. Committee members cannot change ratings or settings, regenerate or send the pre-read, send nudges, submit, archive, or duplicate the calibration. Their access starts when a facilitator adds them and ends when they are removed.

Reviewee

Reviewees do not get access to the calibration or receive its pre-read report. They cannot also be facilitators or committee members in that calibration. Applying calibration changes does not share a manager review with the reviewee.

Other roles

A cycle admin can list calibrations and create or duplicate one. They must also be a calibration participant to open its details or use participant actions. Managers, skip-level managers, and HR business partners do not get automatic access. They must be added as facilitators or committee members. After submission, the assigned reviewing manager and managers above them can read recommendations and comments shared with them. Only the assigned reviewing manager can approve or reject a recommended rating change.

Change access

Only a facilitator can change the participants and roles of an active calibration. At least one facilitator and one reviewee must remain. A facilitator can remove themselves only if another facilitator remains.
