Use the Responses, Runs, and Participants tabs on a pulse to see who answered and what they said. Each tab shows only the responses you are allowed to see. See Response sharing.

Read individual responses

The Responses tab lists each submitted response, grouped by run. Each response shows the person’s name and answers. On anonymous pulses, the name shows as Anonymous. Select Filter to narrow the list:
  • Run
  • Name, Email, Group, Job title, or Manager
  • Relationship to you
  • Start date or Tenure
Anonymous pulses offer only the Run filter, so filters can’t reveal who wrote an answer. Select Refresh to load new responses.

Download responses as a CSV

Select Download Responses on the Responses tab. The file has one row for each participant you can see, including people who have not responded, with these columns:
  • Scheduled At
  • Windy Chat Sent
  • Responded At
  • Employee Name and Employee Email (both “Anonymous” on anonymous pulses)
  • Response
If you filter by Run, the CSV includes only that run. Other filters don’t change the export.

Check each run

The Runs tab lists every run of the pulse: A run can also show chips for chats that are pending or that failed to send. A failed chat usually means the person has no mapped Slack account.

Check runs across all pulses

The Runs tab on the Pulse surveys page lists runs from all pulses you can see. Select a run to see each participant’s status:
  • Scheduled or Sending
  • Awaiting response
  • Submitted
  • Overdue
  • Delivery failed

Check participation by person

The Participants tab lists each person in the pulse, with their Manager, Responses (responses out of chats received), and Response rate across runs.

Find one person’s responses

Open an employee’s profile and select the Pulse tab to see their responses across named pulses. You see only responses you’re allowed to see. Anonymous responses never appear here.
