Nomination visibility

  • Reviewees: See nominations they created. A cycle setting controls whether they also see nominations added for them by managers or cycle admins.
  • Managers: See nominations for reviewees in their saved cycle reporting line.
  • Cycle admins: See all nominations in the cycle.
  • Selected reviewers: See approved nominations and nominations they declined.

Review pending nominations

Cycle admins can open the Nominations tab of the peer nominations stage. When the cycle requires nomination approval, cycle admins can also open Configure cycle > Approvals. Managers can open My team > Peer nominations or use the approvals in their cycle to-do list. Look for Pending Approval nominations. Other statuses are Approved, Rejected, Cancelled, Revoked, and Declined. Deadline digest emails can also link you to pending approvals.

Approve or reject reviewers

Cycle admins can approve or reject any pending nomination. When manager approval is enabled, managers can decide nominations for reviewees in their saved cycle reporting line. A manager cannot decide a nomination that selects them as the reviewer. Approval allows the reviewer to receive a feedback request. Rejection requires a reason that the reviewee can see. Rejecting a nomination does not select a replacement.

Assign peer reviewers as an admin

Use Add nominations in the peer nomination stage to choose a reviewee and reviewer. Cycle admins can add nominations for any active reviewee assigned to the stage. Nominations added by cycle admins are approved immediately, including those above a nomination limit. They do not need manager approval. Requests can start once feedback is open and at least 15 minutes have passed since approval.

Update a nomination

Each nomination is saved when it is added. There is no final list to submit. The person who created a nomination can edit its context while it is pending, approved, or declined. They can edit its justification only while approval is pending. Other changes depend on your role and the nomination’s status. See nomination changes and exceptions.
