Connected data

Windmill syncs the following fields from Oracle Cloud HCM: Windmill can also sync personal email, work location, and time-off records when Oracle Cloud HCM provides them and the connection has the required authorization. Windmill does not store compensation, performance score, payroll, benefits, home address, Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, pronouns, or employment contracts as employee-profile fields. Permissions

To enable the integration, the connecting user must have:

• Oracle Cloud HCM Admin access or API permissions
• Permission to read the People Directory and Org Structure

The connection uses a secure OAuth authorization flow through Merge.
Windmill never writes back to Oracle Cloud HCM.
All data access is read-only.

If you need to:

• Change someone’s manager
• Move an employee to a new department

Make these updates in Oracle Cloud HCM.

Windmill treats Oracle Cloud HCM as the source of truth.
