Connected data
Windmill syncs the following fields from Paylocity:
Windmill does not sync compensation, payroll, benefits, home address, Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, pronouns, or employment contracts. See Personally Identifiable Information for the canonical list of fields Windmill collects.
Permissions
To enable the connection, the connecting user must have:- Paylocity Admin permissions
- Access to the Employee Directory and Org Chart data
Windmill has read-only access and does not write data back to Paylocity.

- Update a title or department
- Offboard an employee
Make these changes in Paylocity — not in Windmill.Paylocity is the source of truth.
Any updates made directly in Windmill will be overwritten the next time the sync runs.
