Company Info is where your organization’s identity lives in Windmill—your company name, a short description of what your company does, and your logo. Windy uses these details as baseline context so its responses refer to your company accurately.
Your company name and description give Windy the basic facts about your organization. They show up wherever Windy needs to refer to your company by name or explain what it does.

Setting up your company info

Open Company info

Go to Settings → Company info in the Windmill Dashboard.

Set your company name and logo

Enter your company name and upload a logo. These identify your organization throughout Windmill.

Edit the description

Click Edit description to open the description dialog, then write a short summary of what your company does. Save the dialog to apply your changes.
Keep the description concise and factual—a sentence or two about what your company does and who it serves is enough for Windy to work with.

Where company info is used

Your company name, description, and logo provide baseline context for Windy across Windmill. They help Windy refer to your organization accurately when it answers questions, supports 1:1s, and assists with reviews.

On Settings → Company info, click Edit description to open the description dialog, make your changes, and save. Your updated description takes effect throughout Windmill.
By default, only Admins and HR Admins can manage company info (as well as Company values and Company Knowledge). Workspaces can also grant this to custom roles. This keeps your organization’s core identity consistent.
Your company name, description, and logo now live on their own Company info page (Settings → Company info). Company Knowledge is now a document library for the reference material you want Windy to draw on, and your Company values live on their own page too.
