Why does Windmill need to connect to my HRIS system and what does it collect?

Windmill connects to your HR system. Your HR system gives us an up to date roster of your team and an Org chart. While your HR system houses a lot information, Windmill only collects:

• Employee First name

• Employee Last name

• Employee Email

• Employee Manager

Windmill does not collect:

• Payroll information

• Addresses, SSN's and other forms of PII

• Contracts

Your Org chart is the backbone of Windmill, ensuring that the right people have access to the right information.

Windmill currently connects to ADP, Gusto, Paylocity, Justworks, Bamboo, and Rippling.
