# ClickUp

## Connected data

When ClickUp is connected, Windmill securely reads the following information:

## Permissions

Windmill requests **read-only** access to ClickUp.

    No. Windmill is 100% read-only — no updates, edits, or writes are made to your ClickUp workspaces or tasks.

    Yes. During setup, you choose which workspaces to connect. You can update or revoke access at any time.

    Continuously. New tasks, comments, and status updates appear in Windmill shortly after they happen in ClickUp.

  <Accordion title="What happens if someone is reassigned or leaves the company?">
    Windmill preserves historical contributions tied to that person's work in ClickUp. Once they're marked inactive in Windmill, new tasks won't be associated with them.
