How to share the gift of feedback with the team

Updated over a week ago

If you are eager to roll out Windmill, but want to share an overview with your team, feel free to use any of the below language:

What is Windmill?

Windmill gives managers AI superpowers, reimagining how leaders run their teams. With Windmill, each manager is paired with Windy—an AI sidekick that automates essential, but time-consuming chores. Windy engages directly with your team through Slack, collecting feedback, compiling performance, tracking goals and more. This frees you to focus on what matters most while your team stays aligned, motivated, and most importantly - productive. Experience a smarter, more impactful way to lead with Windmill.

What to Expect:

At the outset, Windmill will focus on two key capabilities to enhance your team’s effectiveness:

  1. Revolutionary Feedback Collection: Feedback is a critical driver of continuous improvement. Windy will periodically reach out to team members, prompting specific and timely feedback on recent collaborations. This ensures everyone benefits from constructive input that compounds into meaningful performance gains over time.

  1. Automated Accomplishment Tracking: Recognizing achievements helps managers reward excellence and identify areas for development. At the end of each week, Windy will share a curated list of each team member’s accomplishments. Team members can refine this record and ask questions, ensuring an accurate reflection of the week’s wins. Managers then have a clear snapshot of outcomes to inform coaching and resource allocation.

Next Steps

Windy will begin to ping you for feedback via Slack. Take a few minutes to reply thoughtfully!

Windmill is here to support both managers and IC's. If you have questions, need guidance, or want to discuss how Windmill can best serve your objectives, just let us know. We look forward to helping you lead more effectively, align your team, and ultimately drive better business results.
