As often as they’d like! Windmill is always there to help managers and team members understand contributions and coach and improve overall performance.

Windmill is a resource to free manager's up from the chores that make it difficult to manage large teams. Some of those include:

Collecting Feedback - Windmill will aggregate all of the feedback about members of your team - making it easy to understand and coach.

Data Consolidation - Your team is working across dozens of systems each and every day. It's difficult to understand the value of everyone's contributions unless you look at it all together. Windmill helps aggregate it all into a single place.

Day-in-the-Life Analysis - A common challenge for managers is helping team members who are struggling with time management. On each employee profile, you can see a timeline view to understand where there are potential time savings and room for optimization.

Make sure your people are working on the right stuff - Through Windmill Accomplishments, you can ensure your team is prioritizing the right things at the right time.

Windmill will attempt to deliver value into your day to day flow (Slack, Roam & Email). However, there are times where it's useful to log into Windmill to learn more.

Times where it makes sense to check with Windmill:

1) Before a 1v1 where you are discussing overall performance, an employee's profile will give you the latest performance summary across any date range.

2) During a performance review cycle (if your company still insists on these), you can refer back to Windmill to jog your memory on an employees achievements for the quarter or year.

3) When calibrating performance across the team it's useful to understand how each team member stacks up against their collaborators.

4) Windmill will aggregate all of the team's feedback from across the org, this will allow you to shout people out or coach people up in real time.
